  • The Innovation Centre Exeter

    The Innovation Centre, situated at the heart of the beautiful University of Exeter campus, provides a home to knowledge based organisations undertaking research and development.

    The Innovation Centre is the culmination of a £10 million project, with the completion of the Phase II flagship building in 2008, to provide a vibrant community of high-growth-potential, knowledge-based, businesses.

    Across our 2 buildings, Phases I and II, we provide over 37,000 square feet (3,475 square metres) of offices and laboratories. However, we do not just provide heat, light and dial tone. We meet the diverse needs of our clients by providing a supportive, creative and professional environment. Through innovation, we can enable ambitious organisations to innovate and thrive.  Be they individuals, public or private sector, start-ups or mature companies, we offer our clients:

    Peninsula Innovations Limited has managed the Innovation Centre since September 2007 on behalf of the University of Exeter and other stakeholder partners.

    The Centre is the second stage towards a Science Park for Exeter.

    The MTIC is designed to encourage and promote inspiration, conversation and cooperation. Its flexible conference rooms are fully serviced and offer informal, comfortable, sophisticated seminar spaces for up to 40 delegates.

    Cardiff Medicentre

    Cardiff Medicentre is a dedicated medical, healthcare, and life sciences business incubator located on the University Hospital of Wales campus. They provide high quality office and laboratory accommodation comprising of 32 units ranging from 284 sq ft to 1,045 sq ft. Low-cost desk leasing is also available.Offering specialist business incubation programmes and services, Cardiff Medicentre works closely with the Welsh Government's Life Sciences sector team to ensure that tenants have access to the wide range of business support services available. Clients can also take advantage of the specialist facilities and academic expertise located within Cardiff University's School of Medicine.
