The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) is currently seeking members to join its Medical Technologies Advisory Committee (MTAC).
MTAC exists to improve patient care and release resource within the NHS, driving the adoption and diffusion of innovative medical technologies, whilst working with the NICE Medical Technologies Evaluation Programme.
MTAC’s two core functions are the review of medical technologies notified to NICE and to consider each technology’s suitability, and interpret evidence on the clinical and cost consequences of the health technologies selected in order to develop medical technologies guidance.
