The Medical Devices Technology (MDT) exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham, for the first time saw the regional specialist support organisations of the medical and healthcare industry come together to hold the National Medical Technology Awards.
The Awards were in recognition of the outstanding business achievements of healthcare companies across the UK and were open to any organisations involved in the medical technologies and healthcare sector.
Winners of each of the regional awards were submitted to an independent judging panel, who then agreed on the winners for the national awards. MedilinkUK chairman and CEO of Medical Devices in Scotland, Kevin Wilson, presented awards to the winners of five categories.

Export Achievement Award: Brandon Medical
Partnership with the NHS Award: Safe Surgery Systems
Kevin Wilson went on to comment “These companies are at the forefront of the medical and healthcare sector, locally and globally, and continue to keep the UK on the map”.
